What would we do without our volunteers?

The answer is, not much...

... as they effectively keep us open. It's Volunteers Week this week (June 1st- 7th) and to recognise the fabulous contribution our 30-strong team of volunteers make to the running of Scrapstore, we gave them a tea party with lots of calorific cakes and scones to keep their energy levels up for their next shift! They tirelessly sift, sort, fold, bag up and make pretty all the wide array of donations that come into the store, ensuring that our shelves are always full and tantalising for our members. Some have been with us for well over 20 years, such is their loyalty. Thank you volunteers; we can't run Scrapstore without you.
