Small but perfectly formed

April 3rd 2025 - The Neonatal Unit at St George's Hospital was in need of miniature blankets to help comfort the premature babies under its care and Scrapstore members and volunteers came to the rescue in a big way - knitting an incredible 40 blankets for the Unit. Scrapstore provided the raw materials for anyone willing to help. Scrapstore Operations Manager Jen Dolan (pictured below, second from left), handed over the prettily-packaged haul on April 3rd and we must make a special shout-out to one particular volunteer - Silvana Riccio (pictured bottom right) - for knitting 11 of them."They will provide warmth and comfort during such a crucial time," says Jen. "Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, effort and knitting skills to this wonderful cause. It was a brilliant community effort and you have all made a real difference."
