Calling all knitters. We need you!

Beat the energy crisis this winter and help those most in need by knitting squares to make into cosy blankets.

We are offering free double-ply knitting wool to collect from Scrapstore; all you have to do is the knitting, into six-inch-squares by casting on 30 stitches on size 4 needles.

Please knit as many as you can and bring the squares back to Scrapstore or join us on Saturday November 26th at the Church of St Mary's and St John the Divine on Balham High Road for the big sew-in. We’ll be there creating the blankets between 10-12 noon and providing refreshments as a thank you for all your efforts.
