Happy Volunteers Week!

To celebrate volunteer's week and to thank our fantastic volunteers for all of their hard work, our lovely Trustee Niamh put on a fabulous posh tea as a special treat. What fun we had on 6th June!

Everybody enjoyed hand-baked goodies including quiche, cakes (including Catherine's legendary banana bread), sandwiches and scones with jam and clotted cream...All was served on Niamh's beautiful inherited china. Thank you Niamh for such a special event.

Did you know that we have around 30 volunteers helping us from week to week and also regularly welcome one-off volunteers and corporate groups? Last year our volunteer hours were worth 2 full-time members of staff. Definitely deserving of a special thank you treat!
