WAPS re-purposed a record amount of waste in 2015!

18.112 tonnes of waste diverted from landfill/incineration by the Scrapstore in 2015!

Did you know that all the fantastic materials we have at Work and Play would end up in landfill, incineration or festering in long-term storage if they weren't donated to the Scrapstore by our wonderful supporters?

Members using our stuff for their creative and artistic projects help the environment by reducing our collective

carbon footprint by slowing down or stopping the process of materials going to waste.

Fabric is particularly carbon-heavy, so reusing our beautiful fabric pieces is particularly green!

We are always seeking supplies, so please contact Chris if you have any opportunities for us to collect materials for the store.
